[epilepsy] Re: Tingling after Seizure

50 years or so ago  not long after I had the brain infection that left me with the epilepsy and long before I was on any form of medication, every week or so a peculiar prickly sensation would wash over me right to my finger tips, it would last a minute or so warming up as it went down - I presume - the nerves. I wouldn't say that it hurt and I had no control over it. It certainly wasn't a seizure and I was in complete control of myself before during & after it.  After a few years - by the time I was in my 30's it had faded away - I have no medical explanation - probably just brain damage in the temporal lobe.

[epilepsy] Re: Tingling after Seizure

I've never felt that before.  I have felt a pain that felt like hot pins and needles in my skin related to other cause-fibromyalgia and/or nerve pain but never in connection to seizures.

[epilepsy] Tingling after Seizure

Does anyone have an electrical feeling in their body after a seizure? I had a simple partial seizure this morning, and ever since then my body has been sort of tingling and feeling "electrified." It's not an uncomfortable thing; just different.

[epilepsy] Welcome everyone

I know there is a new message and hope to be able to find it.  But for the moment I didn't get to see it long enough to read it before it disappeared.

I know Face Book causes problems but am so happy some of you are still here.

Do you want to let us know what is going on that is stressful?  Stress is not fun and is worse alone.

RE: [epilepsy] Re: is anyone here?

I wish I had something to say to keep it more active.  My medicine dose was lowered recently and I seem to be ok so far.  Still just as exhausted on this dose.  I thought it was the generic Keppra making me this tired but maybe it was one of the other medicines, Keppra still making me this tired, or a combination of things.

Stop in and say hi.  Hope your Saturday is going well.

[Healthy_Recipes_For_Diabetic_Friends] File - Your Email Settings - Change Them If You Need To

Just in case you did not know... OR if you need to
change the way the groups mail is sent to you...

In Yahoo groups you can choose
"Individual" OR "Daily Digest" OR "No Mail"

When joining ANY Yahoo group the setting is
automatically on "Individual". If you wish to
change it... you have this option at any time.

If you wish to see the recipes as they are
posted in "Healthy_Recipes_For_Diabetic_Friends"
Consider choosing "Daily Digest" since
there are days when the group is at a high
volume of messages...

If you would like to be able to access the recipes in
"Healthy_Recipes_For_Diabetic_Friends" when your
schedule allows... then feel free to select
"No Mail" and use this group as an online recipe book.
Then you can come and search/browse when your time
allows.

Go to "Edit Membership" at the top of the page...
next to your name... follow the directions to change
your settings...

Thank You and Take Care,
Gloria (Owner)
