Hi just beca
Use
You haven't had a seizure for a year or so doesn't mean you won't have one, I recently had a medication change from Tegretol and keppra to lamotrigine, my epilepsy came back even though I hadn't had a full seizure since 1997, it was just very well controlled but I had been on tegretol far too long, I was starting to get more problems with it, an old drug compatible with newer drugs, incompatible.

Subject: [epilepsy] Re: medicine dose change
I'm on the same two meds. I haven't had a seizure in 1 1/2 years, and I'm thinking about lowering the dosage of the generic Keppra (leviteracetam). I'm on a pretty high dosage, so maybe it will help ease my side effects. However, my next Dr. appointment isn't until January, so I'll have to wait until then to talk about it.
