[fast5] Re: Need some advice

I don't really like vegetables and never eat salad, so my experience is a little different. But Bert is right about the carbs. If I eat too many carbs it drives a carb craving the next day.

The thing I found that kept me from binging was to always break my fast with some kind of protein or fat. Since I end my fast at a 3:00 PM lunch break at work, a piece of cheese has become my staple for this. Usually I eat it while my lunch (from home) is warming up in the microwave.

As Anita said, it really helped to feel hungry knowing that it was OK. For me, it occurred at about noon (lunch time with everyone eating good-smelling food at their desk). But I knew it would be 3:00 when I got mine. Drank a big glass of water and got back to work. Often it would be 3:30 before I thought about break-fast again.

Hope this and the earlier, very good, suggestions help.

I am really struggling still with absolute binging and not on good stuff. I am eating cookies and cakes and anything I can get in my mouth. I do fine during the day. I really don't feel that hungry but once the window opens I go crazy. Unsure what to do. I don't think I'm losing weight. In fact, I'm worried I'm gaining. What do other people do to prevent this? I feel totally overstuffed when I'm done and don't feel good so it's not pleasant at all. Please help. Thanks
