Hi Jan,

There was a period of time when Megan was having a seizure every week to ten days, and she worked regularly (five days a week) during that period. I think she had three or four seizures at work during that summer. (She works at a golf course during the season, and doesn't work during the school year, except for occasional weddings or banquets.) Megan has generalized tonic clonic seizures, what used to be called grand mal. She's never used diastat, so I'm not familiar with that. She will often get bumps, abrasions and/or bite the inside of her mouth during a seizure, but nothing worse than that occurred at work. For whatever reason, Megan isn't concerned if other people see her have seizures. I think we always stressed the idea that good people wouldn't care if she had a seizure, and those that did care weren't worth her time.

Just someone else's experience to consider....
