Subject: [LoveSexyDC] R.I.P. Edwena Brunell
For those of us who were around before the internet got so popular, Edwena Brunell, creator of The Prince Family Newsletter, was the go-to person for many things Prince. She was, in fact, the one responsible for my connecting with Kathy, expanding my Prince circle by leaps and bounds. Those of you who know me and know that I save practically everything, would not be surprised to hear that I have a stack of old newsletters packed away that I go through every once in a while! Anyway, I read today on prince.org that Edwena died at age 65. While I never met her personally, I felt a connection because I won a couple of prizes through the newsletters and therefore got a couple of personal correspondences from her. Even though the newsletter closed down a while ago and we hadn't heard anything about Edwena, it's sad to know she's not sharing this realm with us anymore. R.I.P. Edwena.
