I agree with Elizabeth. If its in his iep that a nurse be woth him on outings than they should provide one. If its not in his iep than I'd look into calling an iep meeting and have it added. I had similar issues with my daughter just even getting bus service to & from school. The school wanted a nurse just in case, added it to her iep, then hadn't bothered to hire one before the start of school last year. Needless to say it took me calling several iep meetings, calling the state, & 4 months of missed school before the school hired one.
