Re: [epilepsy] (epilepsy) Funny type of Seizure

Hi Susan
Yes the certainly do change throughout the years. We can go a good long time and not much of anything and
then all of a sudden boom. Have to then start asking ourselves what changed. I would love to take in some
concerts too but know I couldn't handle them for sure. Would be ok during for the most part but after when
home and relaxed that is when I usually feel it.
Have to sometimes ask ourselves too what on earth type of seizure is this as never seen it before. That is me
anyway. Some are so hard or impossible to even try and explain too. Went shopping today and got through it ok.
For some reasons the stores weren't nearly as busy.

That's my prob too! I love Christmas and shopping and wrapping but I know I have to slow down and last year I
had to give up making cookies; I hope that I can do that this year as I miss it. What is aweful, too is that I
had to give up concerts as I get unbearable head pain and a seizure the next day. I have been going to Bon
Jovi concerts for the last 20 yrs and now I can't go as it makes me sick. I hope that I can "outgrow" this or
go into remission somehow as it has changed my entire life.

Julie,

My seizures have changed so much through the years, but they all tire me
out. Most of the time I sit down when I know one is going to happen, but
there is times when they are worse than others. When I have had them and
have not been sitting down, my boyfriend has to get me and make me sit
down. He has had to struggle with me to cooperate with him. It seems like I
am stronger than him and he is twice as big as I am.The seizures seem to be
worse the more upset or worried I am about something. I love shopping and
getting ready for Christmas, but I have had seizures in stores and at the
mall, which was awful. If I feel funny I try to stay out of them till I
start feeling normal again. Take care.
