[epilepsy] Re: This happened last Wed-Thursday

 

Sounds like its possibly a seizure to me too. I've, on at least 2 occasions, had similar type seizures where I was able to talk/respond to someone & can remember some of what was going on/the surroundings but what I do remember is kind of foggy (if that makes any sense) the rest I have no clue about. When I have one of my "normal" seizures I'm totally blacked out & the only thing I'll remember with those is doing whatever it was I was doing pre-seizure then waking up/comming to on the floor in a daze.
Hopefully the doctors did an eeg while you were in the hospital to show if for sure it was a seizure & not treat you like you were a psychiatric patient. The 1st time I had a seizure like what you've described the doctors treated me like I was paranoid & wanted to have me admitted to a psych unit.
