[epilepsy] Crazy Doctors!!!!

Last year I suffered a major car crash (hit from behind, pushed into an oncoming cement truck smashing into my driver's side door). I woke up in the hospital and heard I'm very lucky to be alive.

But when I asked for my med's and they found out I have Epilepsy, it was instant Red Flags, and I'm told I can't drive if I have Epilepsy! Instantly, my License is Cancelled by doctor's orders.

When Physiotherapists recommended a PowerChair to minimize the time on my feet, I found out I'm not allowed to operate any type of motorized vehicle.

The crazy thing is... Powerchairs do not require a Driver's License, but still my doctors were full of "What if" ideas.

The rules say I can operate a vehicle if I've been seizure free for six months, and it's been almost two years now since the accident, and no seizures. But here's the catch... I need a note from my doctor saying I would be safe, and he refuses for "what if".

Any ideas???
