Re: [epilepsy] Driving Restrictions

I can see where it would come into play if you were putting yourself in a position where you would be driving
others around who you would be responsible for. I worked at a group home and there is no way even should I
have my license that I would be able to drive them as well. You would be taking someone else's care into
your own hands and would want to be entirely aware at all times without the possibility of any slight mishap.
Suppose it depends where you live and what type of seizures you have had.

Hi,
I was only told once that I couldnt drive and that was because I did loose my drivers licenses, and then after
the six months I got them back. I live in Texas.

Subject: [epilepsy] Driving Restrictions

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone been told that even though their seizures have been controlled by their meds and they have a
driver's license and insurance, that there are restrictions on driving? I have been told by two occupational
health doctors that I cannot drive clients or a company vehicle. I live in Illinois. Thanks. Take care.

Terry
