She just suddenly wrote and sent some letter to the Housing Authority with all kinds of information about my seizures. Things stating that she thinks I'd be better in a place suited to help me; that 'This is an apartment building, not a medical facility.'; and that she was worried that a person wanting to get to me might break the doors down. As for the last one, that never happens. When needed -- even for other people who really HAVE caused problems -- the police are always to get in without any trouble. It's just something about me; I never drink, have wild parties, used drugs or damaged the property. After 16 years, it's so wrong. I'm glad I stood my ground. Shame on them. She claims that she's not qualified to handle someone with my condition. She's uneducated and ignorant, but says it not discriminatory and that she does understand seizures. It's totally the definition of discrimination and for her to write such things in a letter as sole reasons to not want to renew a lease is not acceptable under that Americans With Disabilities Act + the Anti-eviction laws of New Jersey.

> Hello Brian,
>  I am really  shocked to hear that, but as I did not follow from the begining I did not understand why he does not want a person with epilepsy to live there!! I mean what is the idea? and why should he know that you have epilepsy? I really would like to know because anytime I hear something like that I get worried.
