Ok that explains all but just out of curiosity, how much
would a blind person in a wheelchair get on social security?

Adrian,

One fo the requirements to be qualified for SSDI is that you
have worked
at least 5 of the last 10 years. If you have never worked
due to
disabillity then you apply for social security only, not
social security
disability. The reason is becuase SSDI is an insurance plan
run byt hte
govt that you pay into when you work
