No Terry ,
I never take any generic without a doctors ok. I was switched by a store pharmacist for generic Depekene. It was Valproic Acid. It did a good number one me only one pill, He went against my doctors and goberment order. So I had suffered badly. So always check with the doctor as I say and if not the doctor check with the PDR drug book online or you library.

I picked up four prescriptions today and Walgreens never asked or even told me that they were switching me to a new generic antidepressant. I have read on the internet that some patients taking generic Effexor have not felt well. This generic has been out for one month.
