Hi Brian,
I am glad to hear that you don't have to move. I can certainly understand why you would want to though. At least now you will have time to move to a better place.

So, I spoke with my attorney again today. She said that she spoke in person to the director of the Housing Authority. We were letting them know that it was wrong of them to just give me a voucher, basically agreeing with the landlord's discriminatory letter explaining how they didn't want me as a tenant solely because of my epilepsy.
She said that she was told that HUD would continue their payments as always and I don't have to move. Also, however, she was told the landlord was "seeking legal advice".
She said that we don't know what they might try. I think the landlord could try something else shady or try and think of any way to get me out of here. 16 years here; it's just unbelievable.
Anyway, I'll be saving up more money and looking for a place on my own terms.
