Just help him get through the seizures if possible.  Teach him to go eye-too-eye, and talk to you.  It really doesn't matter WHAT you talk about...... the weather, jokes, hobby, or whatever.  That works for me. Sort of a "No, you're not in control.... I am" approach(it works for me!).  Good luck!.

Thanks! I was just wondering because I already had one son outgrow epilepsy

I'm just hoping my 6 year old does now. It kills me to watch him have

seizures. :(

Hi Gina,

I had two children by birth. One started having seizures at the age

of ten and did not outgrow it. That was out most fervent hope at the

time. It does happen. My cousin's daughter had absence seizures and

did outgrow hers.
