Thanks for the response, Millie. My Mom just got back from shopping (having driven to the store, of course), and it just got me frustrated again. In addition to epilepsy, I have obsessive-compulsiv e disorder and attention-deficit disorder which make finding something else to do very difficult (hey, at least I didn't say "impossible" .
I've been undergoing counseling for the past 30 years for my obsessive-compulsiv e disorder. The trouble is that I'm not a talker. In large groups, I'm a wallflower and in one-on-one situations, like with a therapist, she or he does all of the talking.
It seems I've spent my whole life trying to be a good person -- helping others when they need help, lending my expertise in areas in which I have some -- I mean REALLY trying to be a good person. I was laughed at as a child for having a large head as a result of hydrocephalus and maybe I tried to make people like me by being a "good boy."
Composing this message is making me angry so I think I'll end the message here.
