Shanna had 10 in a 24 hr long epilepsy study and the dr said she had none claimed I had Munchauser via proxy cause I refused the surgery to install the OMG forget what it is. some nerve control thingy. I told the dr unless he promised 100% success rate on this working he was no way cutting my daughters head open. It went to supreme court in NC and we won. The dss and dr was suppost to pay us for metal damage 95,000 and to not bother us without 100% proof we where being abusive to my daughter. They had at that time wire tapped my ph and ran credit checks. ( at that time both where illegal) But all 20 rns in the ward in Winston Salem testified that Shanna had 10 seizures all extremely bad ones,
THere where times that the seizures did not show. Lately the seizures showing up is a bit nerve wrecking .. Not that I have not been down this road before. But at least now I can explan to her teachers she is not daydreaming she might be having a mini seizure.

Hey Jenni,
I've had epilepsy since 1975. Over all these years NEVER did I have a seizure during an EEG. My EEG's where shown as normal. But, whats still shown is the electrical activity in the brain during the EEG. Though they they say its normal, it shows activity which give imformation to Drs. It also showing where and how much electrical activity there is during the time of the test. All seizures for people with epilepsy would show up on a EEG. And like I said, electrical activity over charging but not to the point of a seizure are shown on a EEG. Simply said, ALL electrical activity will be shown.
I'm not a Dr, just one who over charged allot (big smile) for the past 34 years! My seizures where never under control till I had surgery just over 3 years ago, been seizure free so far since surgery (big smile). But still an EEG would show the electrical activity going on upstairs in my so called brain (big smile)! Take care, keep a smile on your face!

I had 2 different schools complain last yr about this and did take him to Neuro. They did an EEG which was normal and refused any follow up EEG when the 2nd school complained. He is at a new school this yr and once again the school is complaining that they want him to go back to Neuro.
