I seem to recall reading that 1 in 131 people in Britain have some form of epilepsy - but then I saw a different figure, so I don't think there is a definitive "percentage", and in any case, it will be different from state to state and country to country.  I have also read that the percentage is higher in "Third World" countries.

I heard the other day ot the percentate of the population of people (is that redundant) and the number astounded me. I can't remember the number.

Can anyone help me out?
