When I was in Jr high I had surgery for another condition I also have involving the brain ( I have shunts) and it caused my memory to fail. I started doing poorly in classes and forgot things I already knew. I was then tested and they tried me in learning disability classes for the remainder of the year. The next year I was mainstreamed back into the regular classes
but stayed one class with the ld teacher for study help.

Yes that is my daughter. Even in school - Jr in high school. She can know
how to do something in study hall and by the time she gets to test in next
class has forgotten... .. She keeps telling me - Mom I just wanna give up!!
Any suggestions for her as my heart is breaking for her.... Yes she is in
tutoring - but not helping at all. Currently out of 5 classes is failing 3.

Does anyone else in the group have troule with their memory. I mean, REALLY
bad trouble. I can hear something one minute and forget it the next. I
suspect that's that's the reason I had to drop-out of college.
