Chuck,
What type of of case is this? I tried and tried to get an attorney who would take my case against a police dept.. which involved them when they caused allot of injuries to me (laceration, jaw joint fracture, denture, punctured to ear canal). All because I didn't get into an ambulance as a paramedic ordered,"You had a seizure, get in the ambulance". Then he radioed that he needed police assistance. Every attorney turned it down saying "We only protect and defend the police." I wanted to sue the hell out of them, and for a lawyer to file suit. But when I found out that it had to be filed within 2-3 months, and it was already a couple of years so I gave up. Why didn't a lawyer, City Solicitor, ACLU, epilepsy foundation or some else tell me.
