Hunger-Fullness Scale Guidelines
[nutritionist Lauren Kanzler said this is from "Nourishing Body and
Soul - the Chopra Center Cookbook"]

Here is a scale of 1-10 to help in your experience of practicing
mindful eating. It may be helpful to check in with yourself just
prior to your meal or snack and then again in the middle of the meal
and at the end. Mindful eating is a practice of learning to eat based
on physical body centered signals. There is great wisdom inherent in
your body. Try paying more attention to that and see how you do in
becoming more aware! In the practice of body centered eating, it is
very probably that you will experience more pleasure with healthy
foods and appropriate portions for your body!

1 = hunger pains

2 = very hungry

3 = definitely hungry

4 = slightly hungry, could eat

5 = no hunger awareness

6 = almost satisfied

7 = satisfied

8 = rather full

9 = uncomfortably full

10 = overly full, stuffed feeling
