[epilepsy] memory

Oh yes memory. Short term is bad thanks to taking Lamictal for 9 years. When I started it then in 2000, the doctors were somewhat like drug pushers, who wanted me to take more and more to stop the grand mals I was having then. After my surgery, I was having non-epileptic type seizures as they increased the lamictal again to 400mgs. Every time they increased the lamictal, my short term memory got worse as I was all but losing my mind knowing my memory was getting worse. I was only 41 then after my surgery, as my memory has not really been as bad since I now only take 75mgs of Lamictal. My memory still is not 100% like it use to be as I have been told in the past 9 years that this is what happens after age 40. Same with the eyes also so I have been told. Yet since I took TOPAMAX for about 5 days, my vision was getting affected then as it never has been what it was before I went on that topamax. That was 5 years ago as I knew Lamictal then
was making my eyes bad, but topamax makes lamictal seem good to take. It is no doubt about it that my eyes would not be as bad as they are now, if it were not from the topamax & lamictal. You've now been warned about those two drugs.
