I believe that I am done having seizures! My first seizure was this year. I am 41 years old. I took Keppra for 7 months. Had all kinds of tests: blood work, MRI's, video eeg for 7 days at UCSF and there was nothing unusual. I have not taken any meds for a month and feel great. Perhaps my body was just going through some type of change and I am done or maybe prayers were answered.
Anyway, I learned a lot throughout this period. I sure got a lot of exercise riding my bike and I got good at asking others for help. I took time for me and learned to listen to my body. Oh sure, there were many fears and tears and I feel confident that I am just done with seizures. This group was just what I needed - THANK YOU ALL!!!!
