Re: [fast5] HI!

Hi and welcome!

I think your stomach can, eventually, shrink. But more what happens
after only 2 days is that your "appestat" ... a system of hormones and
nerves that tells you when to stop eating ... starts working properly
again. It seems to be one of the mysteries of this way of eating.
Suddenly most people start eating more what their body *needs*,
without thinking too much about it.

In fact, you might feel you aren't eating "enough" ... basically
unless you have other issues, you probably don't need to worry about
that. Most of us have way more stored nutrient (fat) than we need, and
your body can kick in and say "I don't need all that much food right
now".

The first two days my stomach was grumbling constantly and several times I felt nauseous(sp), but I survived :) I noticed when I break my fast I do not eat as much as I thought I would. It's almost like my stomach has shrunk (which is a miracle for me). Is it possible for one's stomach to shrink? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
