Hi Rhonda,
Too much caffeine can cause seizures for some people, but it doesn't bother me. Overworking your body and/or too much exercise can cause seizures too. I have experienced that before. Epilepsy is a characteristic of some mental issues and/or other neurological issues, like Autism and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).... also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. For alot of people, like myself, epilepsy is just epilepsy (no reason for it.... that's just the way it is).

Ok you all are going to get real tired of me but I have questions I need answers to.
Does caffine have an effect on ep?
Does too much exercise have an effect on ep?
Do people with other mental problems usually have ep?
Just an idea of what I am dealing with here, my mom thought that
seizures and epilepsy were not the same thing. When I told her my brother has epilipsy she said no he has seizures but after we talked alittle bit more and I showed her this site she realized that yes he does have ep.
