Most people that I know do not let their sd allowed to be pet, especially if you get them from an organization. I have Maddigan and they told me not to have people pet them as they then get used to other people and it distracts them from their work. Some sds have been known to start slacking off on their sd duties, and becoming more of a pet.

You are right people should ask first, That was truly amazing story.
I wish more people would ask first. Funny that she let them pet though?
