Hi Amanda,
I have partial, complex partial, and tonic clonic seizures. I've been on many different kinds of medications, and the one that works best for me and has the least side effects is Keppra. Keppra is usually used as an add-on with another AED. For instance, I take Tegretol 700mg and Keppra 3000mg daily. I'm no neurologist, but because Erin's already on Tegretol, just adding another AED, like Keppra, Depakote, or Lyrica might work for her.
Talk to you later,
Tristin :)

Erika will have her 4 mos checkup with the neuro next Friday. She has about 6 Absent seizures, and 1 clonic tonic seizure a day. I really don't think the Tegretol is working. She is on it 3x a day. Because of her weight, they cannot increase the dose. Any suggestions on meds, whould be great! Thanks!!
Amanda
