Hi,
You never said whether the v.n.s. helped you? I know over time mine was doing the same thing as yours was doing and I had it taken out. They even took out the lead that was connected to the vagal nerve. No more pain is wonderful and without it really didn't change my seizures much.
Now I just have pseudo seizures which I am working on getting rid of. The Doc. Even took me off of 2 of my meds and just kept me on carbatrol.

First maybe it is not the pharmacy but the Dr.who wrote the prescription
that made the error and the pharmacist just gave you what he wrote (the Dr.).
Second topic is I have a VNS and hate it. I have had it for a year now and it is so painful when used that the only time it is used is when I have a seizure. It does not get primed everyday anymore. It seems the closer my Neur.appt. is the more it hurts then he adjusts it and for about two weeks it does not seem to bother me I have been taken off Dilantin and put on Trileptal
which I do believe is better for me and I haved fewer seizures I think.
That leaves me on 4 meds. unstead of 5. I talk very softly now not that I shouted. I thought my husband was loosing his hearing but everyone says (what?) to me a lot. Maybe it is the new med. (Trileptal)
Third topic I am going to Church today with no husband or dog that really scares me.
