Rhonda,
Welcome to the group. I have had epilepsy since I was a baby from a head
injury, which was about 40 years ago. I have complex partial seizures and it
takes a few minutes for me to come out of most of the seizures I have. Your
parents sound like the way my mom used to treat me when I was a child and
tried to afterwards. I know she always wanted what was best for me, but she
worried so much about me.It seems like the doctors would encourage his
parents about living a fairly normal life. Just because there is some things
he can't do, doesn't mean there aren't things he can.Maybe your mom should
join one of the groups on the computer, if there isn't any where she lives
at. Hope you find all the information and friends you need here. If you need
anything, write anytime.Take care.
Tammy
