I did same one day at work. Trying to find the spare key for the office which was on top of the cupboard.
Dummy me climbed on top of the cupboard and fall backward to the floor. You automatically put out your arm to
break the fall and it was my left thumb that got it that time. Never did go to the Dr. but made my own sling
as couldn't use for a long time now it is that thumb and wrist that have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis in.
Possibly if had got proper treatment when it happened wouldn't have now. Now have a knobby ball thing that
sticks out at the base of my thumb. We do stupid things sometimes, I must say.
Trust yours gets better soon.

Subject: RE: [epilepsy] Duh Award Update
Ok,
Here goes the stupid award update. I fell today while carrying some things
and was trying to catch myself on the curb. Well my left hand caught the
curb while my right hand slapped the curb more or less and get this, I broke
the tip of my right thumb. YEPPER I broke a bone in the tip of my right
thumb, there is a bone between the nail and the fleshy underside of your
thumb. LOL Of all the bones in your fingers, hand, wrist and arm etc I broke
the tip of my thumb.
Don't ask me how or Why but I can't stop feeling dingy for of all bones.
Well needless to say my thumb, hand and arm (Jarred my arm)are not feeling
the greatest but thank goodness for pain pills.
Oh well other than that we are all good.
