Hi,
It will help tremendously if your epi doctor and or regular doctor write a note per say that you are no longer able to work due to so and so.... to hand in with your other paper work for ssdi. I tried for ssdi but since I have worked most of my life they put me on ssi. Don't for get that if you have kids living with you they are eligible to receive money through your ssdi /ssi till they leave the home or till 21 if in school yet.

I am just wondering if anyone is receiving disability benefits from social Security due to their seizures or related issues. I recently applied.. because of my seizures which I have had for 45 yrs as a result of a mosquito bite giving me encephalitie- the seizures and poor memort either because of the original damage or what might have happened as a result ot brain surgery, electric shock therapy and the medication- I have my share of problems. I just want to know what others have done. Thanks- Birdman
