[fast5] Re: Day 3

Thanks Susie! I'm having a problem with too much food in my fridge now LOL!

I have noticed that I end up overeating because I lack variety. I don't know if this is a mental block. I keep eating after I'm full because I didn't get fruit in with dinner or I didn't have dessert of some sort or something like that. Last night I had a really well balanced dinner of brown rice pasta, grassfed beef spaghetti sauce, and stirfried kale, but then I absolutely had to have a bunch of cherries, tangerines, corn chips with pesto, and homemade chicken broth. To the point where I'm really, really full. I don't get it.

I'm right behind you, so just look over your shoulder and I'll be there with support!! :) My hubby and kids eat three meals a day and since the kids are teenagers and up I don't have to make breakfast or lunch... phew! I haven't even told anyone yet that I'm doing this. Kinda flyin' under the radar as long as possible. Sounds like adding some breakfast foods when you break your fast would help, but I'm obviously not the expert here, so I'm sure someone more experienced will chime in. When I do break my fast I do start with something like a fruit or veggie just to take the edge off. It really seems to help so I don't dive into something uncontrollably. I also feel the sigh of RELIEF from not spending so much mental energy on food. We seem to be going through some of the same things! Great to meet you and keep posting cuz it really helps,
