[epilepsy] Re:green bay doctor

 

HI Paul,

I think your experience with your doctor while seeing him alone is
quite interesting, but I don't have a clue as to why the difference
in his behavior and in what he told you about your memory. I always
go with Megan to her appointments, not because of her memory (mine is
far worse than hers!), but because Megan is still pretty young, and
is kind of intimidated about talking to doctors, professors etc. She
also doesn't know what questions to ask etc. I think that comes with
life experience, but most people don't have to deal with serious
health issues from the age of ten or younger, so they have time to
develop skills needed to negotiate the medical world and the world in
general.
