cmichal that is a great suggestion. my epilepsy is hereditary. My paternal grandma, my father and my sister also have it. I've had seizures, (petite mal) for as long as I can remember. I was 15 when I had my first Grand mal, at which point I was diagnosed. I am 38.

Be sure to ak your neuro if this kind of drug will be safe to take with what you already have for epilepsy. Did you have a sudden injury that started the epilepsy? or--could it all be psychological, such as living through a traumatic event. how old are you--this is a long shot but are you going through menopause, memory loss can sometimes happen then but its temporary and will stop as soon as the menopause stabilizes.
