Adrienne this may sound extreme but hve you thought about going to a doctor who treasts elderly/ Alzheimer patients? Aricept/ Memantine or Exelon may help. Be sure to ak your neuro if this kind of drug will be safe to take with what you already have for epilepsy. Did you have a sudden injury that started the epilepsy? or--could it all be psychological, such as living through a traumatic event. how old are you--this is a long shot but are you going through menopause, memory loss can sometimes happen then but its temporary and will stop as soon as the menopause stabilizes.
