Adrienne, Instead of telling your self you can't remember, give your self continuous encouragement, such as... "That's OK, I'll remember next time." " I'll get it." "No problem." "I don't have to remember it right now. I have plenty of time".
This sure does work. It will relax you plus allow possibility. You'll start believing that you will accomplish when you are able. Sometimes this works instantly: The second you know you don't have to remember, you'll remember.
