[epilepsy] Re: Just had another seizure about 2 wks ago, thought I try this group talking .

Welcome. It's meaningful when talking to others who actually
relate to something super important to us. I started my
epilepsy at 17 years old with a dilly of auto accident. I
got married and have two sons too. One of boys is epileptic
like you mentioned that one of yours is too. I lost my license
for about 35 years, and then I had left temporal surgery, and
now I have my license back. I previously lived in New York
after surgery, and got my license there. About 4 years ago,
we moved to NC, and here they would not allow license since
I still have seizures, but they are nocturnal only. I got
a lawyer, and I was able to get my license with no restrictions
either. As you surely understand it is super hard in many
ways without it. Good luck and please let us know how all
goes as we will be thinking of you. Take care.
