I recently applied.. because of my seizures which I have had for 45 yrs as a result of a mosquito bite giving me encephalitie- the seizures and poor memort either because of the original damage or what might have happened as a result ot brain surgery, electric shock therapy and the medication- I have my share of problems. I just want to know what others have done. Thanks- Birdman

I am totally disabled through uncontroled seizures,d.s.s or as is known a D.L.A here in the uk reconize the fact that there is a lot more care involved with e.ps,even the fact that there mobilaty is badly effected, but its a sorry fact hat when you reach 60+ there attitude tend to change as when you reach 65 your benifit become not care componant to attendance allowance, and if you are on the higher rate of mobilty they try to lower the rate at 60 years old so they can stop it compleatly at the age of 65,hope this helps a bit.you take care@stay lucky.
