[epilepsy] generic lamictal

I have been on the Generic lamictal for 2 weeks now. So far everything has been the same and I feel no different mentaly or physical. My doctors nurse told me to give it 3 weeks for a true reaction time for any thing to happen from switching from the brand name drug to generic for any anti convulsive medicine. One more week and I should be home free. That is why I kept 2 weeks of the brand name Lamictal and did not finish them before I started the generic. I wanted some of the brand drug to fall back on if I needed to. So far everything has been good. They are easier to split if you need to split the pills and it is 1/3 to 1/2 the price than the brand  name on average, at least in Virginia it is.  Craig
