RE: [fast5] Success Finally

Congrats and good for you, Rita!

I'm the same way: eating late in the day doesn't work for me.  I get too hungry and grumpy.  On the other hand, if I eat early in the day I stay satisfied until bedtime.  By pushing my morning meal back a little (to 10am) and bringing the end of my window forward (to finishing by 1pm) I've been able to have longer fasts almost every day.  Now I make 19 hours my minimum requirement but most days my eating window is no more than 3 hours.

I don't know what impact that has on my weight so far, as I only weigh myself monthly (else I go mad about fluctuations); last month I maintained, after starting F5 three weeks before the weigh-in.  By the time I next weigh in I will have been on F5 for 7 weeks, a fair period to see an impact I hope.  We'll see!

Subject: [fast5] Success Finally

Hello Everyone,

I have been a member for a long time, but have only posted a couple of times. I've also tried Fast 5 on and off quite a few times but was never able to stick with it long enough to see continued results. This time however I thought I would try Fast 5 a little differently, instead of having my eating window in the evening, having my eating window in the morning from 10 - 3, sometimes I have a longer eating window and start at 8 but always end at 3 except on a special occasions ie: we are eating out with friends. Anyway I am really finding doing it this way a lot easier for me as I am able to exercise in the morning and eat afterward and in the first week I've lost 5 pounds, I know that a lot of it is water weight but at least it is down and I am not constantly hungry and able to exercise so I am also feeling better. Thank-you everyone for all the great ideas posted.

Blessings to everyone,
Rita
