Hi Scott,
You sound exactly like my dad! lol. Yeah, I know my seizures could return, and there is a chance of a major catastrophe down the road ahead, but I'm willing to take the risk for my independence.  I've waited long enough.  In this country (US) and especially in the state of Georgia, you absolutely cannot be independent unless you have a job and transportation.  I have a good job, but I don't want to depend on friends and family for the rest of my life to get me where I need to be.  Honestly, I think the thousands who are driving drunk and/or texting while driving are much more of a hazard than I am.  Also, when I do have seizures, I always have partial seizures in my sleep the night before.  They wake me up, and I know then that when the morning comes, it will be a day full of seizures (one about every 2 hours).  It's just common sense that I would not drive on a day like that.  Who knows?  due to surgery, I may not ever have another seizure.
That's what I'm hoping anyway. :)

Tristin

if you lie and later end up having a seizure your record will be looked into and when it it discovered that you do have a history of seizures you could end up in jail for a number of reasons.

Most/all states have a question on the written part of your river's test
related to seizures.
