Re: [epilepsy] using the bathroom or shower(shotwho24)

usually no but i would say it depends on the severity of the seizure

o i c, it really doesn't bother you when you have to change your clothes, do you bathe before you put on some clean clothes after you have wet your pants after a seizure.

have you had effects of wetting your pants when you go into a seizure, it seems to happen to me all the time, and it happens at night when i'm in bed during a seizure and i get upset because my pajama's will be wet, at least i have a plastic mattress cover on my bed so i don't ruin the mattress.

when i lived with my mother i left the bathroom door unlocked for the same reason, and no,i have no plans for getting a vasectomy as although i have no desire for children (for their safety) i am not sexually active.heck, i have always kind of scared to ask the ladies anyway because of a fear of rejection.lol

do you have any plans on getting a vasectomy since you have seizures.

i think it is o.k., but can you just leave the bathroom door cracked open so they will know if you go into a seizure by some noise in falling in the shower, what did you do when you lived with your mother about using and showering in the bathroom.

i am looking for some opinions.i live with my brother his wife and stepchildren, and there are 3 bathrooms in this house so they are able to use theirs.i know that it is common to lock the door when using the bathroom or shower, but when i (having epilepsy) use my bathroom,i leave the door unlocked as a precaution for the possibility that i might have a seizure while in there.what opinions do you have on this matter?
