Re: [epilepsy] using the bathroom or shower



I would make a sign and put it on the bathroom door to let them know that I was in there taking a bath /toilet use. Then tell your family about the sign and tell them the door won't be locked just incase you need help because of a siezure.

i am looking for some opinions.i live with my brother his wife and stepchildren, and there are 3 bathrooms in this house so they are able to use theirs.i know that it is common to lock the door when using the bathroom or shower,but when i (having epilepsy) use my bathroom,i leave the door unlocked as a precaution for the possibility that i might have a seizure while in there.what opinions do you have on this matter?
