Do you think Omega 3 wound be something for a fifty y.o. to try, if medicines can't do it fully.

Subject: [epilepsy] Re: Natural Remedies? Omega 3
I started my daughter on high doses of Omega 3(1,200mg EPA/DHA)about two years ago and within the month I could tell a positive difference. In fourth grade she was on a behavior modification chart that she struggled to earn happy faces throughout the day. During the summer after fourth grade I started the Omega 3. A month later she started fifth grade and she no longer needed a behavior chart (kept hands to self etc.). Her writing improved. She went from writing big and round, taking up the entire space on wide-ruled paper, to writing appropriate small words. I have tried several times to decrease her dose in half, but every time I decrease the dose her writing goes back to big and rounded letters. I followed the suggestions of a book written for the purpose of informing how Omegas can benefit children with learning and behavior issues. The key to the dose was looking at the EPA/DHA in the Omega capsule and ensuring that you took a certain amount for 3
months. After 3 months you can taper off or continue as is if you notice behavior problems returning. I'm sorry, I have misplaced this book and I cannot remember its title or the author.
