I'm only 51 yrs old and I have been epilepsy since I was little too. Since you did adopt the child in your home. First of all I would make sure you get the medical records and the other infrom before the child was giving to you for your safety and the child safety too. That the information I can provide you. I hope it will help you.

Our 14-year-old daugther has had epilepsy probably all of her life though we only know her history since age 14 months. She joined our family through adoption.
