Adrien welcome to the group and truly do hope you find lots of info and friends here. Here is an article I
found for you on the omega 3 supplements and how they help the brain.
http://www.epilepsy
I myself take it but still take my other AEDs. In layman's terms the way I would describe its use....Omega is
your oils. We use oil in order to keep our vehicles in working order. The oil in the omega 3 & 6 simply keep
those wires in our brain relaxed and better able to return to their given position following a seizure.
:)smile:) that is just my 2 cents worth and how I look at it. It has a lot more benefits than that but one of
the ones I got tasted horrid and telling myself that before taking was one way of getting it down. :))
Take care
Keep smiling
Julie

Have any of you ever tried any natural remedies for
epilepsy? My husband is 30 yrs old and was diagnosed at the
age of 14 with complex partial seizures. So far no
combination of medicines has helped him. He is not a
candidate for surgery. I am now looking to herbal remedies.
I found the info above and wondered what your thoughts might
be.
Thanks,
V
