I seeked the Surgery. I had EEG's and they were never able to pick up any seizures. I was told I was deaming and wanted attention. I had to seek close to 6 Neurologist before I found one that diagnosed my symptoms correctly. Because of the Temporal lobe being deeper in the brain, it was my understanding that the EEG couldn't always pick up everything. They Epileptoligist placed in-depth electrodes on the brain area the seizures were starting and they were able to find the exact spot where they started. I have been seizure free for over 11 years.

Nancy,
When I read your email, your symptoms are so much like mine used to be before Surgery. Ringing in the ears, feeling like I am far away, I could hear, but not comprehend. I would also have a strange taste and my heart rate would become rapid. They were able to locate scar tissue on my left temporal lobe. How are you doing?
