Re: [epilepsy] having versus watching a seizure

I totally understand.  I grew up always fussing at my mom for freaking out and making such a big deal about my seizures.  But a few months ago, after a video eeg, the doctor showed me the video of myself having a seizure.  And let me tell you, that was a little bit too much for me.... It was a big shock!  Totally freaked me out!

Anyway, just try to keep a positive mind.  Remember how you feel during and/or before a seizure and remember that he/she isn't in any pain.

I've had different types of seizures and know how they feel but today when one of my students had a long one, I was wishing I was having it. I felt so helpless and it was worse then how it feel to have one.
