Hi,
Aamir I have had epilepsy for 48 yrs and have taken every pill that I can to stop it and I have also had a v.n.s put in and taken out as it did nothing.I have also had brain surgery and all that did was take the epileptic siezures away for a month and then boom they came back but I don't have my auras anymore so I do not know when the siezure are going to happen.Not only all that stuff but come to find out I now have psuedo siezures which are a bit worse then the epileptic ones but I thank the Lord that those I can somwhat stop. I know how to do to talking to my epilepsy phsycolagist. I am sure there are epileptics out there that has had thier siezures stop by on way or another but even if that happens they are still concidered as having epilepsy just like a diabetic is still considered a diabetic even though they can stop the diesease whith a shot or a pill.
As for why I come to this group it is because it helps me cope with my siezures better as I can talk to somebody who is just like me... an epileptic and know they know what I am going through as well as give support and information that may help control them And maybe I can give a lift of hope of a happy life with epilepsy as well as help somebody else who has questions

I have no fit from last 2 and half years. i am taking Epival CR which contains divalprox sodium from Last five to seven years. I have visited many doctors here but in vain. What can i do to prevent from this disease and what measures should i taken to cure this desease
