My husband has complex partial seizures, simple seizures, and generalized seizures with Todd's Paralysis. He often urinates on himself without knowing. It is more devastating to him than the seizure itself. He keeps a change of clothes with him in our vehicle at all times just in case. He was diagnosed in 2004 and is still uncontrolled. We have recently changed medications, AGAIN, and now he is on Lamictal.

Hello All,
I have been absent for a while but would like to get some feedback from you. My husband suffers from Complex partial seizures. For the very first time, yesterday he urinated on him self while having one. He was completely unaware of what he did and didn't remember it at all. This has never happened before and I'm wondering if this is common among others? He has been on so many different combinations of medicines the drs are pretty much at a loss and cannot not seem to control his seizures. He is not a candidate for surgery so I feel as tho we are helpless. I'd love any feedback you can give me (us).
Sincerely,
V
